My wife, 7 years younger, learned it in in NW Iowa. She thinks because it was a "round" and kids like the name of the bird???

I found this one (in the midst preening itself) in a netted enclosure at the Kansas City Zoo in Kansas City Missouri

(I think it is a Black-headed Heron Ardea melanocephala)
