That looks like an orchid of the genus Phalaenopsis. It's a popular houseplant because it is easy to maintain, will blossom reliably (some orchids are extremely fussy and unpredictable bloomers) and also there are a variety of colors. GOOGLE the generic name if interested.

Cave it is- Wonder Caves, a few kilometers west of Johannesburg, and the 3rd largest set of caves in SA.

Correct. I spent some time taking pictures of it. The cage wires were a problem and show in the foreground of some images.

I spy stalactites and flowstrone. Mammoth Cave KT is not noted for cave formations, it's famous for the extent of passages which have not all been followed to dead ends.

Jeepers creepers! If I press the button enough, something will go into the memory card worth posting. As for a sense of humor, to quote Mr Bennett:
“For what do we live, but to make sport for our neighbors, and laugh at them in our turn?”

Carlsbad (been there) and Luray Caverns (been there a LONG time ago) are definitely the places to see cave formations.

Never been to Carlsbad. The only cave I've ever really explored was Crystal Cave in PA--not a big fan of dark places (bats, other fauna) but that is a beautiful photo---
