I spy a stone-built structure. Thought to be an altar within a temple complex, about 3500BCE = older or near contemporary with Stonehenge, much older than the pyramids.

Amazing... smell like antique!
In my future plans it is someday to visit Gobekli Tepe a site with 10K of antiquity, it must be mystical

I spy another stone brick structure -not anywhere near as old, but I remember it as a kid, so that alone makes it ancient

What often runs through my mind at such a place: what did people do there? What did they believe and believe in - what ceremonies did they perform and what words did they say in hope of influencing unseen forces or creatures they imagined could do something to their benefit?

Delightfully exuberant ironwork along the edge of the roof of that gazebo. Suitable for a fairy-tale garden.

I spy a table and chairs to sit for a meal or tea, but a more prosaic setting.

Yes, at a well established tourist spot, en route to Durban. The country's smallest church is here as well, seating for 8, so all geared to make any wedding here memorable.

Table for two

I spy a table setting for a small group. The dining table in our glamping "tent" when we visited Kakadu.
