Yep, common occurrence around here too. This is the National Route 3, approaching Van Reenens Pass in Kwazulu Natal en route to Durban from Johannesburg, a treacherous stretch of road. Ask me, I wrote my first car off there way back when. Slippery rainy conditions and I slid sideways and the guardrail certainly kept me from ending up in the valleys below. Frankly, as far as some drivers are concerned, they may as well not be there!

Yes, guard rail does not work too well when someone hits it at high speed like that. About the only thing that would stop a car like that is a solid concrete wall, but those people were probably better off with the guardrail

More railing

That is a really clever, creative work of art. Caught my brain the instant I saw it.

Yep mine too. At the local Apple i-Store. First time I saw it I could only take shots through the fence, so made a point of revisiting the store, got permission to get closer. It is quite huge actually.

A fragmented version of the Cardiff Giant - and if you don't know about the latter, it's worth a GOOGLE search.

Well now, what can I say about some preachers and Theologians. And not forgetting deceivers! What a business. And such suckers too! Interesting article to read.
