That one looks like a painting. Gotta love the super-saturated colors from the chromes.

Scan Cafe has done almost all the scans of my chromes including all those from Alaska (the flowers pictured were in a demonstration garden in Palmer, Alaska). More recently I've experimented with one of those tiny desk-top scanners. Not sure I see all that much difference. IMHO chromes lose a great deal of IQ when scanned, and I've generally been disappointed with them. However, I must have over 100,00 of them covering all kinds of things and places. After all, I was younger and more active, even if the necessity to earn a living cut into photo-time. New digital files needing PP are now interfering with scan-plans.

OK that makes sense, that would be Scan Cafe equipment. I do not have that many chromes but thousands anyway and would like to scan at least a selection of them but just haven't gotten started.
