I also see the sun reflected. and need some advice please Can anyone tell why there is some coloured dots from the starburst. I seem to get this coloured effect often with this lens

probably better ask in one of the technical discussion sections, but it's to do with light bouncing around inside the lens (or between the lens elements) - as I say, there are folks who will explain it properly in other parts of the forums - but it's almost unavoidable when the sun is in shot (or just outside)- though modern lenses control it very well

Thanks s ffking I will search for a topic on it I thought it might be a faulty lens will be relieved if its not.
