What a beautiful, and dangerous-looking kitty!

You are welcome to visit our shores, and explore Lory Park Animal and Owl Sanctuary where this was taken. Restless animal it was too, and this was about the best of the shots I got. A quick visit to the website, and it seems they have had a few babies of these beauties. I was there in 2013 (for the World Pentax Day) and I guess about time for another visit.

I spy some spiraling metal.

Oh, I'll be back, don't you worry Although not this year. Right now Malawi tops the list. Last visit was about 25 years ago, so I guess it's about time. They've worked hard to re-establish their game parks over the last couple of decades, so I'm excited to see the result

I spy metal tubing.

Bummer, just when I thought I could persuade you to visit our shores- my marketing skills need to be polished Though Malawi will be awesome, and hope you get to Nyika National Park, which I was told (when I was there in 2010) has the highest density of Leopards in the country, and gets a special mention in NG's list of Game reserves with the highest density of leopards (https://africageographic.com/stories/the-7-best-places-to-see-leopards-in-africa/). I got to see the Bohm's Bee Eater when I was there, a game reserve not far from Blantyre. I shall resist any further lest I be consumed by ENVY!

I spy an upward view

Don't be greedy I think I'm up to a total of 8 or 9 visits to ZA by now, something like 5 months in total. Fantastic as South Africa is there are some other countries on this vast continent worth visiting, too

As for Malawi, Nyika is not on the menu this time. On our preliminary itinerary is a week's stay in Liwonde NP, including a three-day walking trail. The landscapes along the Shire river looks beautiful. We also would like to spend a few days hiking on the Zomba Plateau. And, of course, relax for a bit at/by/on/in the Lake

I spy a clock.

Me Greedy? You got the wrong Noel - though my fellow countrymen may pick a bone or two with you about that. Did a short hike on the Zomba Plateau, it was fantastic. As is Lake Malawi, though I opted not swim with the risk of Bilharzia quite high. Did not encourage me that a previous visitor had contracted that from his swim in the Lake.

I spy an arch or two

I spy a tower with arch-topped windows. This tower was built as an astronomical observatory. Most interesting, the interior has a wide ramp that goes almost all the way to the top (stairs for the uppermost two levels). The ramp is wide enough and gradual enough for two or possibly three horses to walk abreast with their riders.
