Non-insectae, terrestrial arthropods

If it has three pairs of legs, two pair of (functional or vestigial) wings, three distinct body parts, and one pair of antennae, then it belongs here:

Oh, and spiders go here:

(I suppose that applies to all arachnids.)

And further excluding crustaceans and other aquatic arthropods; but if it's a creepy-crawly, that isn't really a "bug", it probably goes here. E.g., this millipede:

Common centipede around these parts - this one was hiding under a fertilizer spreader I was repairing - good subject, I thought, for an experiment: Pentax KP w/DFA 100mm Macro & Pentax 1.7x TC, hand-held. A bit of a focus-challenge. I don't think that's going to be an effective combination for the macro-world, though I did get a passable picture of a biplane going over. Probably be ok with a tripod on things that aren't moving. Generally, I like that TC because it does its own autofocus thing - you get as close as you can with the "real" lens, and the TC does the fine-tuning with AF. That's all in theory, of course.
