should be within the Challenge's guidelines then...

I'll be sure to enquire whether it (hopefully) stretches to anything PK mount too... though I'm doubtful about that :P

Can I have a rule clarification please , if I get an Infra Red filter for the 25, can I still post? Weird one I know but it does have a very different look and I suppose process from what I can gather.
If you are shooting with the K-1 it is totally OK.

Ahhhh ... that would seem a much better idea - thanks. 8) Do you know if then it would release in the normal bayonet/K-mount way? Currently the lens needs to be unscrewed, and then use a fingernail to depress the spring thing to remove it.
I have a flanged adapter to use with my Yashinon 60 macro and Tak 200/3.5 when I want to mount them quickly to take some shots. Problem with flanged adapter is that lens doesn't go to infinity with it, but it works as native K mount, so easy to mount, stays locked and is easy to detach. The infinity doesn't bother me, because my use case for either lens is close focus bokeh when I have them for quick mount in my bag. Will use original adapter when I single in them or if I paln to shoot whole session with either of them.

Shall do! I doubt I’ll keep up very well with both but I might flit in on some months.

I may regret this in a few days but I'll jump in again. I need something to motivate me as this shelter-in-place has really curtailed my photographic desire. So...I'm in with the FA*24 f2, most likely with the K-1II but...I might go with the K-3 or IR converted K20d. Been awhile for me on these.

I have never tried it but when others have talked about using fixed adapters on m42 lenses they always mention removing the spring clip.

Yeah - doesn’t stay mounted Just rotates right off the instant I let go of it.

Ah well, I probably just won’t bother; I’ll stick with my takumar bayonet 135 - even though it lacks a certain something by comparison

Hehe, found my Lee filter 58mm adapter for the little 25. I've graduated ND grads in 3, 6, and 9. A Hi-Tec polarising filter and a B+W IR filter on order. Lockdown and travel restrictions are beginning to ease in Ireland now so I suppose I'm hinting that I might be doing a bit of landscape work in the near future

I'm going to jump in this month with my 11-18. It hasn't gotten much use since i bought it, because my vacation got cancelled, and it's been feeling lonely on the shelf.

Is it the 2.5 or 2.8 version?

Ok so I flicked through my recent acquisition spree (have to put the brakes on) and decided on the Super-Takumar 85mm 1:1.9 (edit: how large does a format need to be for that to be a ultra wide? as I didn't read all of your comments before I posted this.)
