20mm is however a neat focal length on crop since it's similar to the fa 31 on full frame in field of view. I too only have crop unless I resort to film.

I'm looking forward to seeing whatever you pick.

I think you misunderstand me Dave. I happily shoot APS-C too - so absolutely no shame intended. All formats are good. I would love to see what you can do with the A 20/2.8

Bring it on. I know you'll rock it

Don't let mean ol' Sandy bully you! I think the 20mm perspective on APS-C will be valuable to the conversation and I'm interested and please use it.

Awwwwwww! I was going to come and play with my auto yashinon 1:1.8 f=5.5cm to give it its Sunday name, but if we are doing wide, I have already SICd my fish eye which leaves the 21mm limited. Not super wide, particularly on apsc but it should be fun. I was thinking it has been neglected of late. OK, I am in

Are you going to switch bodies? Had I been using an M42 I would have just used the K3 because I just find it is better for MF, the diopter is better for a start, but now I am using the 21mm limited, I can utilize the KPs better IQ and the K3 when I feel like it

I'm in. I don't have anything ultra wide though so I will think about it.

Awesome! It will be a perfect counterpoint to pepperberryfarm's A20/2.8

Yay. Me and Pep, the not particularly wide boys

Although, it has been some time since I could describe myself as not particularly wide

I'm thinking I'll join the crowd with my Tamron Adaptall 17mm on the K-3.

My thoughts exactly; I cannot wait to run my DA21 through the SiC again but somehow I keep buying new lenses which postpone the return of DA21

no, not switching bodies at all - I'm really not looking to move to full-frame, but am watching for the next APS-C camera....

I'll still be running the A20/2.8 for June; I had considered the Auto-Topcor 58/1.4 but I like the idea of even wider than May's lens....

Me too Sara! and Ditto Cerebum's comments.

Looks like I'm going to try this. I warn you that my work schedule has been brutal so it may involve a lot of indoor shots given the weather (stormy) and my lack of time to dash outside when there's a break. But hell I love you guys and miss participating. Hopefully I can pull off the challenge - I'm going to try to remember to shoot a safety every day even if it is boring.

Well I posted early-ish on Monday, missed yesterday and now I've got loads to read up on and catch up with.
I have done a lot of head-scratching in the last week but come down on the side of playing in June. Not sure how going back to work will pan out yet but hopefully I won't have to drop out.

This will be good to see

Five years ago (Aug 15) I singled the A 20 on the K-3; two years ago (June 18) it was the turn of the FA J 18-35 on the K-1 (which I've kept hold of). With the recent news of the D FA 21 Limited (much interest ) I think it’s time to single the A 20/2.8 on the K-1.

Actually my 35 on ff fit nicely into your not particularly wide gang, so count me in. Physically I'm more like ultra wide, but let's not let that hinder us

Should we update user titles come June?

I've been the short/wide guy for quite a while now....
