I started with 300mm, but that's one step braver.

Welcome to the club.
Ah... but it looks like you did so on FF... On APS-C the 400 is effectively twice as long!

I presume (polite) constructive criticism is okay when commenting on photos...?

I'm going with the Schneider Kreuznach Componar 75mm enlarger lens this month. A 4 bladed iris means square bokeh.

I definitely appreciate it.

I am glad I decided to try the DA 21mm on the K-1 before putting it up for sale, just my test shots are showing some serious pixie dust.

Just thought I'd check. I'm always happy to hear how bad my photos are...

I almost NEVER plan ahead. I generally try to use my photography as a visual journal, so I take a picture of something that will trigger a memory of an event or emotion from that day.

I'm gonna ask everyone to participate in selfie day, though. C'mon. I've been working from home since St. Patrick's Day and I need to SEE PEOPLE'S FACES.

I didn't have K1ii back then. I shot my 17 M series primes first on APSC, either K30 or K5, and now I'm finishing my round in FF. I think I will be a bit lost in September when my 3 years project has ended.

WOW, what a great set of shots from day 1. The best start I've seen

Thought this might prove expencive for me. I've been looking for new direction for my photography and I'm afraid that I start lusting after FA*24 again. DFA21ltd might be my only rescue. Same thing with 85mm now that DFA*85 is coming out and is whispering it's sweet song in my ear. I'm definitely moving towards more expensive glass now that I've practiced with M's. Just need to figure out should I go straight to the top or spend some time and money playing with middle ground first.
