that really seems to have a ‘something’ - but I also must ask about the processing - especially for example the bashful alley pic, and the bike a few further on. How much of the character of the pics was the lens, and how much did you bring in in post?

Here ya go. Four quick snaps sooc with the Miranda on the kp

Footnote: "calling dibs" and "bagsy" is a way of laying claim to having first choice. I can't wait to hear the regional variations
No no, I'm thinking. You're welcome to introduce good ideas in the challenge. It can take several years before I'm actually upgrading. Windsurfing gear demands my attention (money) at the moment

It would appear Dibs came from a 19th century game aka knucklebones, where "dib" means pat. Dibs was first seen in this sense in American literature in the 30s. Bagsy was British/Australian and stemmed from bagging something, like a tiger

Well I bags the M85 once the windsurfer , horse fees, snowboard and CD collection is paid for and Ismo gets the DFA 85.
Bags- regional version of bagsy and dibs here , we tend to shorten words

Bah, fallen into Creative cloud presets...What a maze. Actually does anyone have a recommendation for a book or online course for the latest and greatest Photoshop. I pay for it every month but have never used it.
Anyone else thinking of a lens for next month? Pretty sure Sandy will be taking the 85 out for a spin.

My DA 40 limited that I singled in March whetted my appetite so I have another in the limited series on the way... Hopefully it will arrive in time for July. I've also picked up an Adaptall 80-210 for a fiver that might or might not be any good. If nothing else, it's a good price for the adaptor mount.

I love my DA 40mm LTD, and the XS version as well. I just had the LTD repaired, July is the time to try it out. Then again, I am planning on a short vacation, might have to try out the Promaster 80-210 or the CPC(?) 28-200 lenses I bought in a lot deal for several film bodies and lenses about 5 years ago.
