Anyone use YouPic? Was going through one of my gmail accounts and had two messages from a community manager looking to showcase some of my work that they spotted on Instagram. Specifically mentioned Irish photographers but they seem to like my 'style', random as it is
So after nearly a month my Youpic account stands at the following:

27097 Views
1253 Faves
338 Shares
7 Inspirations (kinda like a Flickr Explore)

I've thrown up about 30 pics over the course of 3 to 4 weeks.
Something different from Flickr

I've done the SIC with both the 10-17 and Rokinon 8mm fisheye...
Recently I saw the 8 mm Samyang fisheye at a good price ($100 eq); it's still there but I have too many lenses so I resisted
I did some googling, saw your Flick album as well - interesting lens for sure. Not this time, though.

I sold mine on - too many issues when compared to the DA10-17 zoom....

The nice thing with the 10-17 is the versatility. At 10mm it's a proper fisheye, at 17mm it's getting close to a rectilinear UWA - the fisheyeness can be well hidden with composition, or some PP defishing. And at 17mm and MFD it's good for 'macro-ish' shots:

Just reading through the chat to catch up; the DFA85 is pretty sure to be a fine lens I'd say - but I'll stick with the A*

Think I've commented on all the images - just got to catch up with mine - work has been getting busier and I'll be back in until the end of the month now so posting may get a bit erratic. I'll be finishing the month though as I'm enjoying the lens

I'd love to say that I'll do the extreme opposite with the 10-17 or something
I love the way that lens renders, I had rented one and it produced some of my dearest "keepers"
I enjoy the Rokinon 8mm as well.

Though an FE is often considered the choice for wide open skies, I really like having one in a deep forest, especially in summertime. I still have the Tak 17mm FE for my K-1 great combo which I've used for Single In more than once.

Ran out of time today. Had a plan to pop out in the morning but got caught up in some calls then the day just vanished so you'll have to put up with some dinner pics

Picked up Topaz GigaPixel AI using the PF discount code. A few test shots show it might make my older scanned photos displayable again.

July thread is up:

Single In July 2020 - PentaxForums.com

Sorry for being radio silent this month. Unexpected family issues have kept me pretty busy. I did take a few shots, though, and will be posting tonight.

Darn, I'm way behind now. Taking pictures just haven't had time to work them up.

I have this lens and thoroughly enjoyed using it on the K-S1. (see Flikr Feb 18). It may get a spin out on the K1 at some point, but at the moment it's put away on the toyshelf..

It's 9 pm here, still no photo. I spent 8 hrs in the lab but was too busy with the students to even grab the camera. However, driving back home from shopping I spotted a nice excavator. I might decide for a night shot of it.

You should have saved that for next month. Very sharp and two for the price of one
