Sounds like you need a focus adjustment, though a green object against a green background will always be tough to focus on.

No, AF is all right, in most cases get what I want in focus. Just sometimes it goes wrong - and I got pissed

I could not get into church I wanted to shoot, so just some flowers:

Yesterday:

And today. Rain got me when I was taking pictures and of course I left WR lens at home. But good rose is never bad:

All photos straight from camera, nothing changed.

Lens: smc Pentax-DA 35mm F2.4 AL

We're going to the beach next week and I decided to take the DA 35 2.4 instead of the Sigma 30 1.4 or the DA 35 Limited, for evening walkaround shooting (during the day it'll be the DA*16-50 with a polarizer...) - because I miss having a lens so light, especially on the K-S1, it feels like I'm carrying no lens at all.
Seriously - I had it on the K10D earlier today and the combination felt very light!

That reminds me, I need to start next month's thread early because I'll be out for about 10 days starting tomorrow...

As for pictures... here's the DA 35 Limited and some oregano flowers (the same oregano that goes really well on my home made pizza )

KP & HD PENTAX-DA 20-40mm F2.8-4 Limited at 28mm:

at 36mm:

at 31mm, this one is HDR, 15 second exposure. I shot it with Raw+ and this is the jpg the camera produced, better than I could make the raw look with my normal presets I use.

As usual, this month has flown by, and I've posted a lot less than I hoped I would. Here's K35 3.5 open as far as it will go (not very far) near MFD.

Ornamental plants, shot with the K35. Not that it matters all that much what I shot it with because I post-processed (some might say butchered) it with a very free hand. Just for fun.
