Lovely colours in the original picture (wouldn't mind living there and having that view every day ), but I thought I'd give b&W a try first, so here it is. Take 2 is later in the day and in colour.

I first thought of a wide aspect B&W, but it ended up quite similar to what @lidy; has...

So I tried the same crop in colour...

You're very welcome, @mariwalt, no problem at all! I'm glad to have been of help!I love your picture and really enjoyed working with it. In fact, I may even try a 3rd one.

I wanted to make a feature of that lone tree against the colour in those clouds, but then the reflection of the light on the water was nice too but I couldn't find a crop I was happy with that included them all. So I have gone with a wide (more or less X-Pan style 3:1 aspect) crop of the tree and sky and letting the foreground go to a silhouette.

I straightened it, got rid of some spots and did some adjustments. Then cropped and added a young lady golfer for the perfect vacation.

Ahhh... I can hear the sound of the ocean now. Oh - wait. That's the washing machine draining in the next room.

PP Challenge 333

I guess it's time to pick a winner. I liked the black and white renditions, but in the end the winner is Isastonm.
Hope you will give us a challenging photo to work on.
