Or GAS, I just bought a Manfrotto XPRO head for my tripod to go with the DFA*s, all magnesium but with an Arca mount to fit the leg of the 70-200. Gimbal kicked to touch, if the wife saw that I'd get a bollocking and a half.

I jest, it'll be the BEST way for you to become accustomed to your camera/lens. We're always happy to give some light constructive criticism which I have found helped me immensely over the sporadic almost-a-year of daily photos.

I'll stand aside for July but will be watching.

I need to focus in July on getting up to speed with this secretarial role I have taken on.

May be back in August assuming my new acquisition arrives during July. It's being posted from the US so the isopropyl alcohol will be at the ready

Welcome, I believe we are all still figuring out our cameras. The 28-105 is a great lens, I am sure you will enjoy it, what better way to enjoy your camera than to use it daily.

Well, I wasn't going to play this month but I just saw the pics my friend took with my (on loan) takumar 100mm macro and I decided what the hell, I need to get to know the lens anyway! So, I am going to play with my Vivitar Series 1, 105mm f2.5 macro

Wide at last, looking forward to seeing the 645 in action again. I'm heading the other way, to prepare for the alleged weight of the new 85mm later this month, I am going to pump some iron, this should make the 85mm seems lightweight
