I am going to give this a try in July. I've been a forum lurker for years so it's probably about time. Going to go with my HD FA 35mm f2.

Wide at last, looking forward to seeing the 645 in action again. I'm heading the other way, to prepare for the alleged weight of the new 85mm later this month, I am going to pump some iron, this should make the 85mm seems lightweight

O_Õ

That’s eNORmous!!

(Ok perspective, but still enormous)

I'm in! Not a clue what with* but for the first time ever (since starting the SIC) I've hit every day this month, so far. Hopefully haven't jinxed it and definitely have more than my fair share of crappy, late-night shots.

*I'm wondering about a couple of lenses... The M85/2 is hovering around, the M200/4 as will be skilfully exhibited by Ismo, the SMC-Takumar 135mm f/3.5... Maybe the M50/1.4? Entirely undecided.
Hint in my 30th June entry!

Welcome to the challenge. I'm using the DA 35/2.8 Macro Limited this month so will be interested to see how the lenses compare.

As much as I enjoyed my last lens, I like the moment when I put it on a shelf for a while and grab the next one

Delayed by nearly two weeks, the wave of busy-ness I'd been waiting for has finally reached the shores of my workspace, and so I will be avidly following for this month, but not participating. I look forward to seeing your pictures!

Good choice. I really like mine as a walk about on the K1. I singled with it in May 19. Single in May 19 | Flickr

I Might Regret This ...

Well apologies due ... I'm going to have to bail out after all my enthusiasm earlier.
Extra loading at work (change of planning as it's now Monday) means I'll likely end up being very erratic and missing days so I'll jump now before it becomes a necessity. Hopefully August will stay a better month (it is atm).
Okay - ignore all my whingeing above as I have changed my mind again ...
I decided to make an effort but to help me through the month I've picked a lens that should prove to be versatile enough for all sorts of images

I'm probably not going to take part this next month, as it looks like I just won't have the time. But, you should totally do the 400. It's quite the challenge somedays not to get repetitive shots, but overall it's been fun. I'd be interested to see what someone else does with it. (I'm just finishing up June with it).
This would definitely be in the spirit of the challenge but with things as they stand I'd never get through the month - sorry but I'll have to wait for an easier time

I'll be in. New pentaxian here with a K-1 and 28-105 kit lens. Still figuring out my camera.
Hi and welcome to the game: the 28-105 is a nice lens to use

Hello and welcome - be interesting to see the updated version of this lens

That's a nice set with the macro, another excellent A series lens

Breaking out this thing:
Computar 2.8 28mm M42 samples and thoughts... - PentaxForums.com
Cost less than a nite out at the Hot Dog stand under the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.

Gonna stick the IIs in Sv mode and just zone focus like a boss.
