Thematic PP Challenge #337

Welcome to Post Processing Challenge #337!
I will let this run for a week so you have until the 16th July to submit your entries.

Thought I would go back to January and find some fog for you this week, easily my favourite weather for photography. Quite subtle in this case and it was a toss up between this and later in the same day when the sun made a very dramatic appearance, but slightly bleak British countryside won out.

Lovely countryside and great picture! Not the easiest one to work on, but that makes it even better and more interesting. I've tried to bring the sun out amyway.

Give it a little bit of time and the whole area will be basking in the sunshine!

First attempt in colour, second one in b&w and a bit foggy

Um and aahed about doing this one, I really liked the image but my initial idea was too close to Lidy's version. So I gave up, but then a few days later decided to take on the challenge of creating a unique version of this image. Thank you to the host for providing an excellent image to work with.

As my original concept was too close to another version already created I decided to go with a more 'artistic' rendition created by working with the light and textures options I had to work with. PP was undertaken in On1 Photo Raw 2020.

Glad you kept it open longer, I missed the thread earlier, and it was a fun image to play with. Ultimately ended with this after many different variations
