Thematic PP Challenge #346

This photo of a farm/windfarm was shot with my K1 before I had any FF lens. Some aggressive cropping may be needed to pull out the best of this image.

I created a folder in mediafire (PP Challenge #346) and uploaded the DNG file. I'm not sure how to create a link - might need some help here.

I work with Wind Farms, couldn't stop thinking about the challenge so decided to have a go.

A cheaters approach to crop this way but I thought the subject matter works with this aspect ratio. Will have to come back and look for some alternative aspects and styles but will need to do that later in the week/over the weekend.

Found some time last night to run another version, this time went with a different aspect ratio and aimed for a different style completely. Disappointingly the compressed version resulted in banding in the sky, so I will see if I can resolve that with a less compressed version.

I would normally crop this a bit lower/wider, but since I wanted to try to correct the vignetting I couldn't do too much of that

Wonderful images, I had a tough time deciding. Really appreciate the sunrise and UFO additions. I often highly crop images like this, but the winner is one of the least cropped versions. I choose savoche as this week's winner!

Thanks for hosting, it was a great image to work with.

As host did you reach out to Savoche via a PM to improve the chance that they are aware of your selection?

It's coming up to a week since you made your choice and if Savoche is not responding then I recommend trying to contact them again and be prepared to nominate another host if Savoche is unable to commit time to hosting the PP challenge.
