I look at this time of year as a way to become proficient in the use of artificial lighting outdoors, with the bonus of not having to get up too early nor stay up too late for complete darkness. I also use a lot more props, and try a lot more "tabletop studio" ideas during this time of year.

This article is not clickbait, and offers quite a few good ideas featuring household objects.
