Guns, Knives, and Ammo

Handguns, rifles and edged weapons, let's see them. Ammo and ammo related also.

Cool photo. I like the way the green of the handle is picked up in the rear post.

This is a photo I posted in a "Single in..." challenge a few years ago... If I remember correctly, I was attempting to get the same kind of look as adverts and articles in magazines from the 1970s. I think I got reasonably close, though I'd do the processing somewhat differently now given my additional post-processing experience.

I named the photo "Uh oh! Mom's mad!"... which was entirely appropriate, since that's my Mum holding the Makarov pistol

Taken with the Q7 and a quite terrible C-mount Fujian 35mm f/1.7 CCTV lens...

But it gave you that 1970s magazine look! Good pic.

Cute & Useless

Cute little S&W Escort Model 61 .22 LR. Unfortunately, a failed design. Had it for a month and sold it. Nice looking though. Put it on your coffee table and people will think it's a gag cigarette lighter.

Just a reminder, folks.
This is a mini challenge. It's for posting photos of the topics listed in the title. If you have a photo you'd like to post of something other than guns, knives, or ammo please post it elsewhere.

I remember this one. Made between 70-73. Lots of reliability problems.

OK - I'll play along ...

Smith & Wesson K-14 Masterpiece - .38 Special

SIG Hämmerli P240 - .38 Special WC

Peters Stahl PSP9 - 9mm Parabellum

And a double exposure just for the fun of it:

The Time of Reckoning

All taken with the Pentax 67 II and the smc Pentax 67 165mm F/4.0 LS lens.

Yes sir. Give that man a cigar! This one was in very nice condition. The only, and I mean only round that would cycle it was CCI Mini Mags. Nothing else. And I have all kinds of .22 competition ammo. Perhaps back in the day .22 lr was loaded hotter, but from what I have read about it, it seems to have been a problematic firearm from the beginning. I decided that even though it was a cool collectible, I didn't need more stuff just taking up space so off it went.

I've got a 14-1 8 3/8 with original grips. Stellar condition. If I had access to it right now I would post a photo. What kind of grips are those?
