I did not have a lot of opportunities to shoot locally in December either. This view across a park and the Southern Cemetery to the Vólkerschlachtdenkmal always makes it look as if we are (close to the water tower) living in a forest, not in Germany's 8th largest city. Last rays of sunlight in 2022, with very good visibility before the fireworks.

Now, back-to-back for January. Shot a week after the previous - the only day I took pictures locally at all.

Christmas is over ... This place is not officially designated to collect Christmas trees, but it was many years ago, so habits stuck. The door belongs to an old bomb shelter - closed in the 1970s.

February, took this with my new K-3III, I was pretty happy to get what I thought was a pretty good shot, when I;m still learning the camera, especially was trying all the different focus options, I still am, but getting more comfortable:
