January's pick
I'm going to have to go with the Wolf Moon photo from last week. The Internet seems to like it too.

Mine from last month is an image of Lancaster quay. Lancaster was an extremely busy port in the 18th & 19th centuries. The buildings in the image date from 1770, the largest and grandest being the customs house. This was a late entry as it was only taken on the 30th. Pentax KP & 40mm limited

Customs Houses must have been built to a fairly common design as there’s a very similar one on Ipswich waterfront.

From a few years back

I had long intended to visit High Bridge State Park, but knowing it would be closed to the public for repairs until May gave me impetus to finally do so.

And one from Below.

After a long day of rain, the clouds broke up just before sunset with the resulting view of the Topatopa Mtns. Jan. 23, 2021.

February was another lean month.

Never mind Spring is now on its way.

From early February with KP and PLM

We actually got a bit of rain in February, which resulted in a brief outburst of green in the local hills, Taken Feb. 4, DA18-135 on K10D:

Well, I'm going to have to go with my full moon photo again. Kind of a monthly ritual for me to try and get something with the full or near full moon. Maybe I'm part werewolf.
This one (the Snow Moon) and last month's Wolf Moon have both been pretty well received and made Flickr Explore.
This barn is about 4 Miles from my house and was not part of my initial plan that evening. I initially shot some pics about twice as far down Hwy 50 as this and was on my way home when the scene presented itself and I had to stop here for a few more photos. Glad I did!

Lots of ice and snow in February kept me from travelling outside my little slice of heaven, fortunately this park is just up the road a piece, so I can walk even if I would not chance a drive.

Instead of big landscape I go with something small and minimalistic for February.

I drove two hours for my full moon shots this month so closer to home would be this one. The water is open and flowing again now.
