For better or worse, this statue of Stonewall Jackson is now a very well known and controversial subject. Image taken at the beginning of December 2020 with an SMC 300mm f4 on a K-1

Not many landscapes in December 2020 as the weather was typically poor.

Every December decorations are hung from young evergreens throughout the forest around the pond.

I've got to go with this as a December favorite, there were many photos that were better, but this one gave me the most excitement, because it was the first time I've saw a bobcat outside of a zoo. Taken on New Years Eve.

Awesome! I just saw one on Saturday in the road that didn't hear me so I had to stop for it before it realized I was there. But it's a twisty road on the edge of a very deep canyon so I didn't even try to grab my camera before it disappeared. So no pic but a magical rare moment of watching a wild one. Such beautiful cats!

January 2021

Slim pickings last month what with the lockdown in the UK and generally crappy weather.
