Yeah, good game. Shame we lost. USA took advantage from their chances to score and fought well in front of their goal. Still I think we were the better team and controlled the game. Good finals to Canada.

With the rather strict containment going on for yet another week, it’s gonna be tricky just to get a good shot. I realize there are theme days, but for me there’s no choice but to get what is possible in the house. If there’s anyone who thinks theme days should be absolute, I’ll respect that and post only if I have appropriate shots.

There are no absolutes. And as far as theme days go, they are voluntary. Don’t sweat it.

Theme days are merely for inspiration, and are by no means mandatory. So relax, and post whatever you like, on whichever day you can

Maybe 50mm is too normal to interest you.

I tried a 52 week challenge last year after successfully completing a 365 the year before. You’d think it was easier but I failed half way through the year because lockdowns, extra work load and a general funk / depressed head space set in as I confined myself to home.

Be social - have fun - the world doesn’t end because you miss a day.

Just shoot.

Bah - excuses neither needed nor expected.

Sure, the more you post the more we get to look at, and the more helpful critique you give, and the better the challenge is - but there’s no way that I’d try to put a guilt trip on you about you thinking of ditching...

But being serious, it’s just about sharing a hobby/art we all enjoy. There’s no reason to my mind that you have to declare your efforts failed because you’ve missed a few days; it’s not a binary thing.

As others have noted: no requirement around theme days.

In fact there’s little requirement in the Challenge at all, other than it being the one lens all month, and at least it one of it and the camera being Pentax.
