Looks like there’s quite a bit you can do with your iPhone. Nice, balanced approach.

Cheers 8) Yeah, lightroom mobile is good - even on the phone. Screen size is the major limitation on the phone - in terms of performing edits and also evaluating their effects.

I’m going to have another crack at it on the Mac (once our Internet connection is resurrected, so I can access my iCloud Drive...)

Here is my attempt. I have tried to control some of the flare and to capture some early morning lighting.

And we have a new challenger! In this corner we have Stevejo,,,

That's two really well done PP renderings. Great work, anyone else?

So that's where I'm going wrong... I added more of the stuff (flare).

And this is why, knowing I couldn't possibly compete, I went down a different approach altogether

Best thing about these challenges is learning to use PP software, in my case Affinity. Only had it for a couple of months but it is a very good package.

We've only got your word on that... we won't know for sure until you submit something.

Aye, it's often quite amazing what can be done on modern PP software these days. For me who's been at this malarky for a lot of years, it's all about the speed of my workflow.

I'm an Adobe man and in the old days you could spend many, many hours and numerous layers doing stuff... that can be achieved now at almost the touch of a button.

My familiarity means that none of my PP takes me too long. This challenge genuinely took a few minutes to achieve, as my workflow always follows a similar path... in terms of which steps need done and in what order.

I always work nondestructively, so the option is there to be able to go back and amend something at a later time. Which often happens when you go away and leave an image and then review it later... only to realise it may have been overcooked.
