I have STak 105/2.8. I have tried it on my K-1 something did not match up, but all of my takumars has been a bit meh. Perhaps I should try to get that adapter installed better?
I will have to wait for later today when I download a few images, but I zoomed while reviewing, and a few of them look promising on my K-1, and I've been happy with my other M42 Takumars on my K-1, so it could be your adapter. It seems to me that Takumars work best with manual aperture settings.

I’ll give them another go this month

I stopped at my local camera store to buy some Cokin ND filters, and they had an M42 Takumar 105mm lens, and maybe I should not have made an impulse by, but I did. Anyone have experience with this lens?

I suppose I'll be using this with my K-1 in the month of March , or maybe even 27 February if I get a chance.
I have the SMC variant and in January used it on my gfx a few times.
Did well on the bigger sensor with only minor vignetting so should be nice on a k1

I actually have a good idea about which lens I'll be using...
And that lens will be the Carl Zeiss Pancolar 50mm f/1.8 (in M42 mount).
I'm half-tempted to set myself a side-challenge of shooting only SOOC JPEGs or using only one edit style in Lightroom for RAW shots, or something to that effect.
Unsure yet as there's another 4.5 hours to go 'til I get my grubby mitts back on my camera (post-work).

That is about 95% of anything I've ever uploaded here.

It's something I've never really used. I enjoy the whole process of taking photo, amending said photo where I see fit, uploading amended photo.
I think I might do that then! Will be interesting to see how much I like the output of a photo with it not being tinkered with ('creative style' aside).

I'v tried some jpeg shooting, and now on I'm sticking with RAW. Especially with K-1 I think that it is waste of it's possibilities...but it is also more easy in the way.

I have a feeling that this will be the case but I'll still give a go I think! There's no harm trying something different or pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

I am in and will attempt to keep up where possible, odds are I am back full time at work so may end up missing a day or two. I think I am going to try and use all my older camera bodies and some neglected lenses at least once this month (if for nothing else then to prepare them for sale ...). but tbh expect mostly the GFX with the 4 native lenses - and someone please stop Benjikan giving me serious GAS for other GF lenses on Facebook groups )
...the newest children are always the ones getting the most attention I would love to get in a studio shoot but I think local Covid restrictions will still delay that

As per my post in SIC, I’m mostly out until my KP is fixed. I’ll still be taking something crappy every day because stubborn, but whether I can drive myself to post it more than one place (my Blipfoto journal and here as well) I don’t honestly know.

Oh no! I hope you don't need to wait too long.

EDIT: I just read your SIC post. Terrible event.
FWIW, I don't like neck straps, but I use a hand/wrist strap, it has saved my camera a time or two

I always use a wrist strap as well, gives a bit of peace of mind that I ain't dropping the thing.
