We're still in a 5KM lockdown so not expansive as before but it'll get me out and about
Gets stopped at a Garda checkpoint 'where are you going, where have you come from, what is the reason for your journey?' Ahh, I've to take a photo for the Singles in Challenge on Pentaxforums.. Dunno, might work as it'll be an unusual answer

On the plus side I've built a new PC which should work well for the challenge. Picked up one of the new AMD Ryzen's (5950X) before the whole word went mad buying new CPU's and GPU's (also got an AMD Radeon RX6800) and have paired it up with 32GB ram and all NVMe storage. I have a 10bit monitor (a Dell U2518D) and the new drivers support this so hopefully will be able to pick up on any unusual colo(u)r transitions.

31 isn't my favourite Limited, it comes in a far behind 3rd behind the 77 and 43. I think that is down to the handling (very front heavy) and I've never being able to visualise 31 in my minds eye. But it'll be fun nonetheless. Daffodils are beginning to appear, spring is in the air and some misty morning shots might happen.

I ended up picking the SMC-K 30mm f2.8 for my March SIC lens. I figured March weather is still pretty "iffy" and needed something that would work indoors if needed.

I have one of these myself, but haven't yet gotten off my derriere to give it a proper spin. I look forward to your images

I've had it for a few years, need to put it through the paces on the K-1.

Well, I was considering singling the f135, but since there should be a silver 31 (finally got one with the red pouch!) in my mailbox tomorrow, guess I'll be joining the 31 crew.

I have feelings about manual lenses opposite to those you both express. I feel like I've been to quick to take a picture using auto-lenses, but just this morning I was using this manual Takumar 105mm and blowing test shots because I'd forgotten to consider shutter or aperture. If I spend some time slowing down to redevelop the habits I had using only manual lenses etc, maybe I'll be more inspired to create some truly worthwhile images.

I have those feelings too ... but then I just go grrrrrrrr and wish that I had the tech doing it for me. Probably because going between AF/AE and manual means messing up shots with both xP

I'm in this moth too, and with the the 31 Limited! Looking forward to it, since I was homebound last month with a mild case of Covid. I'm still tired but want to get out a bit now that the weather is warming. I figure a little extra inspiration will help me get going again. I'm hoping the new 16-50 comes out too this year as I'm planning a big tri for the fall or maybe next spring

Glad to hear you've recovered! It's good to have some trips to look forward to, I have at least two planned in 2021 as well.
