I must confess to being utterly enamoured with the A*135. It's even better than I was expecting.

MFD is my main complaind so far with F17-28 FE. There are times when I'd like to get closer to the subject. Otherwise going well.

The GR iii is just a brilliant little camera. I can't believe how good the shots are turning out to be.
GRiii has looked impressive every time it's been in SIC.

My "K" 50/4 macro is a lovely lens. I like that it's sharp from wide-open; the macro feature is great and the handling is quite pleasant. Ok, it's not the fastest lens ever (I miss my F 50/1.4...) but for the price, it's more than very good. I just wish I had a bit more time for photography.

Time has been also my enemy this week. With snowboarding and working there has been very little time and energy left for shooting.

Sounds like time well spent.

Finally it's not dark and cold
+8C today and days are getting longer fast. About 8 min per day. Sunset is about 9pm ATM. Ruka is just on the edge of midnight sun and sun doesn't go beyond horizon for about week in June.

I was in Tampere around 20 years ago in June and was just amazed at all the activity, people walking in the park, kids playing and riding bikes at 11pm.

Yet here we've had a couple days of 2-4ºC
Weather's horrid, quite uninspiring for shooting really...

Plenty of rain in the forecast here... trying to make the most of what ever light I can find. Keep at it everyone, its only half way through the month.

June to July is the right time. That's when this country is alive.

The 50mm f1.8 has been a revelation. Its sharp, nicely saturated, quick, all in all a belting lens for so little money

Still loving the DA21.

I was looking at some old (candid) family portraits with other camera/lenses: my Lumix G10 with its 20mm f1.7, and either K-30 or KP with the Plastic Fantastic DA35, and I realised I hadn’t taken similar photos with the DA21. So I took some of mrs tsuken with face filling about the same proportion of the frame. Side-on, all the quality; front-on, too much distortion evident, because I really had to be too close.

So there’s a weak(-ish) point.

Environmental, whole-person portraits/pictures though - all good.

Yeah, the 21Limited isn't a portrait lens, unless your subject doesn't mind looking fat 😂🤣😂🤣 it is however fabulous for street, landscapes, interiors etc. The 21st is coming round again. Thinking cap on
