Indeed. Great results Gus. I especially like the strawberry too, and the lone singer third form the last. You really nailed the focus on that.

Ws the back more serious than Donze (sic) pills and one of those heat packs could handle?

I'm keeping it for a couple more days to get a chance to fulfil Gus's request for pictures of Serafin. In the meantime, Gokenin can you PM me your snail mail address please?
I don't really want to send it on, it's been lucky for me so far.
Saturday evening, I took the dogs out for a walk during the golden hour, boy was it GOLDEN. I had a light shower, a rainbow, a double rainbow, a pink sky which made the rainbow pink. Those might be fairly commonplace for some of you guys but Northern California in July, I'd venture to say that it was one of those once in a lifetime events.
Hopefully it'll be as lucky for someone else on it's travels.
On with the pics, I posted three in the 'Capture a stranger streetstyle' thread; https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/665194-post1228.html

hi Garry
Like I explained to igilligan I think that the lens should continue to move in california and slowly make its way from state to state heading eastward. I think this will shorten the time the lens is in transit between users. we havent really been sticking to the list as far as next in line to begin with have we

I managed to do a couple of Panos today but in the first one the horizon got bowed, I haven't decided whether to post it yet.
The one I got this evening is straight, not the best light but I'm afraid. Six exposures stitched together.
You can see it larger in the gallery.

Awesome shots Gary, I've just picked up a good copy of this little gem & when the rain stops (yes it has actually been raining in drought ravaged Southern Aus) I hope to get some good shots. I missed it when it travelled through Australia.

regards

Thanks Daz and Kevin.
The nifty fifty is on it's way to Steve Beswick.
Gokenin, I have forwarded your mailing address to Steve so you should get it next.
Last ones from me.
1st is George
2nd is Pippin
3rd just another one of the shots from the previous night
4th these two girls accosted me in the street, the one on the right is a photography student, she was doing a project, taking pictures of men with facial hair, she was shooting with an old Canon film SLR. I said she could take a picture of me for her project if I could take a picture of her for mine.
Final one is my darling Serafin, look, three and a half weeks old and she's already starting to count.

I really like the third shot in this post! Is it ok if I use it as the background for my iPhone? Right now I have the doomsday clock for my background, which is a little ... moody.
