I've had a PM from Shane - I think he's sending it to me after his session with it, so I'll PM Tas and see whether he's right to have it after me.

Sent it about an hour ago, express post. Sorry 'bout the delay.

Same goes for the end cap, RobA.

Sorry 'bout all this.
Thanks, lithos.

Hope you got some good pics, just the same.

Cheers
Rob

This is a great idea. And as you seem to be missing someone from the Netherlands, I'm signing up

EDIT: I just realised that the huge list in combination with the deadline means it's unlikely I'll fit in. So I guess you can disregard what I said. Still though, this is a great project (and a great testimony to trusting your fellow earthlings).

Nifty's already been to South Australia. Hate to be the lens nazi but Tas missed his chance and I think we should send it on after you're done, Chris. It's been in Australia for quiet long enough now. Onto Hong Kong, Europe and the UK with the little bugger before heading back to the American continent.

All those in favour...

the lens arrived this afternoon
... now just have to find something to photograph.

[also found an old Minolta lens cap to wack on it ... just don't like the risk of damage without one protecting the glass]

To Europe

OK - the lens is with Shane at the moment, and coming to me next.

Taking the quoted posts into account, and with Tas' agreement, I'm open to the first request from overseas to be next in line for the lens.

Who's next? Please PM me!

I should be on Orange also since it's the same, concerning mail, that on "Continental" europe

I buy a lot of stuff from UK and mail is really reliable and not expensive even all insured. Check it out so I can then share some Azorean Sky (or other) images with you guys.

Who's next?

Nifty Fifty has arrived in Canberra. I'll attach it to the K20D and take it sightseeing over the next few days.

Who's next after me? I haven't had a request yet?
