since we are at the mid-point, how is June treating you?

Still busy as folk

Only got one day of karate in over the long weekend - feeling unaccountably under the weather for the first two days off. It was a most excellent session though, so I’m feeling pretty good.

Shot some nice sky this evening leaving work.

Awaiting delivery of a free Telstra tv box thing; then I’ll sign up for Britbox and have doctor who, Bergerac, midsummer murders, Inspector Morse etc at my fingertips.

And still!! not tired of the DA 21.

Oh … and engaging in anticipatory swooning (perhaps even in Spanish…) over a Maples Metal commission in design/planning stage (squeeeeeeeeeeee)

Went out late last night to close the flight holes of some the hives out in the orchard, to bring them here in time for linden blossom. Then got up early morning to pick up a van and bring the hives here before it got too warm. Very likely no late night shot today - I still have to process and post lasy night's 1am shot.

To follow through with my plans to switch cameras, I should also clean my K-1 sensor, but maybe a wide open lens will have to do for today.

Regarding mid month, it didn't start terribly well but it got a bit better today when my catch in focus worked this has been a fun weekend though, shooting with a ninety year old leica! How fabulous is that

Raf was rather taken with my Mezzaluna. I have also just had a request for another one to go to a friend in Oxfordshire. It will be a busy couple of weeks, which might distract me from breaking out the FA* 24/2.0 for Single In July.

On the other hand, there will be no shortage of things to photograph

I've been enjoying my deadline free non-participation, still taking pictures every once in a while, when my schedule allows. Been too busy to comment on the great work you all have been posting.

I have cleaned up a workspace which will allow me to do more set-piece photos, which gives me some incentive to make some images as well.

That lens has been on my list for quite some time, and almost pulled the trigger on one last summer.

Just shoot around smithy. You can easily combine too hobbies. And selfies are welcome. Just set camera shooting on tripod on decent intervals and see what you got

Nothing spectacular, but so far finding the 40 Limited to be sharp and render nice colors...and...the MFD is more fun than the 70.

Very busy so far... I have the feeling that I don't give enough time/dedication to the challenge this month. OTOH, each day I spot nice places/scenes around so it gives some hope for interesting pictures once I had the time to go for a short walk in the city. Otherwise, I feel like re-discovering my K50 after being delighted with the GR3.
And you?

you know what a selfie is, of course; the Belfie is a sub-category, in which your buttocks are captured rather than the face....
