Post Procession Challenge #374

Hello everybody!

A year ago, after watching a YouTube video about long exposure time, I decided to give it a try and bought a cheap Chinese ND filter. But something went wrong.)

I have tried many times to do something about it, but the result is unsatisfactory. It might not be worth it. But it’s a pity.

Hope you can help me with this picture by June 19th. Or tell me what my mistakes are.

In the end, I'll show you what I've done so far.

Morning Glow

Softer pastel, a more misty atmosphere and extended frame format.

I will add intrigue to the plot with a story, perhaps it will inspire some ideas for creating an atmosphere. She is completely fictional, aside from the visible facts.
An elderly man lives on this ship. And his whole life is a ship and everything that is on it. What is there just not. There is even a car.
And at the end of his life, everything he has has become a pile of rusty rubbish. He does not have a gangway, and I have not seen a boat on which he could go ashore.
And every evening he brings an old armchair to the upper landing of the launch and looks at the city lights for a long time.
A sad story, but this ship sailed in her youth.

The filter caused dark corners and degradation in sharpness.
I sharpened and added a vignette. Plus a little more .

Well, judging by this and the other photographs you've posted on this forum, you do the soft, dream-like style incredibly well.
Many thanks for your kind words.

I had to put the file in my own folder, and not in the challenge folder. Judging by the fact that works appear, no one has problems with downloading

Thought I would try and add a lonely figure to match your narrative, its a bit crappy close up but at this size I am happy with it.

Lol. In fact, the old man from the launch reminded me of Mr. Filch from Harry Potter.
