Apologies for being a day late with judging. Normally I would like to give my thoughts and comments on each of the images but if you will forgive me just this once I will be a bit more brief.

When I processed this scene I felt it needed very little work, (maybe a few dust spots needed fixing) but I think there is still different ways to take this, included sky replacement which I will be honest and say I am not normally a fan of but a few versions here have used it to great effect. Namely Kerrowdown's version which when combined with the cinematic colour grading has worked a treat, also the much more dramatic flair of xs400's edit.
Fdooch has really enhanced the misty moorland feel and I do appreciate the additions of the stag and bagpiper in tuggie76's version.
The black and white that stood out the most to me was the tighter crop by savoche.

For those interested my version was a fairly simple grainy black and white conversion, keeping the dark and rainy atmosphere of the real thing.

I liked all your versions, but as I have to pick a winner I am going with Kerrowdown, congrats and over to you for the next round!

It was very interesting and fun to work on this shot. Everything is not as simple as it seemed at first glance. I look forward to new interesting works.
