As a very rare US-visitor, my first connotation with Maine is Stephen King's books :-)

Maine is beautiful, no doubt, and it's mix of small towns in the middle of deep forests allows for some great scary stories.

August will be weeks of few phots and weekends of many photos.

Thank you, I have almost forgotten.
In terms of photography, this week has been very good for me - I made some very nice walks in lovely places. My shot from yesterday hit explore:

As for gear… I’m spending most of the month with my dad. He’s on a Sony full frame kick, shooting an A7rii I used to own. (I’m bringing my a7riii he replaced it with).

Ironically, most of the images have been with the small 1” sensor Sony RX100 mk IV. The little RX100 is easier to take on short trips with my wife that aren’t dedicated to photography.

Exactly the reason I love the GR, so easy to have on you for non photography dedicated trips out, whilst still being leagues ahead of the phone camera.

On my way to Colorado with few lenses and the K-1. The primary purpose is to attend a wedding, but I hope to hit a few scenic places while I am there.
