It's amazing to me how the commitment to do this, combined with a complete lack of interest on my behalf of fudging my own rule, completely changed my mindset and approach while looking for and taking the photo.
There's a corollary: "Desperation breeds inspiration" once committed to taking a phot before the clock strikes midnight, it is amazing what ideas might act upon to capture an image.
Friday was busy from sun up to sundown, and by the time I got home, I was exhausted. I don't even remember if I took my camera out yesterday.
I volunteered at the community COVID testing site, directing traffic. It allowed me to see a lot of people, it would have made for a great photo essay with all the people coming through. If I volunteer again next week I will keep my camera handy.
