Dragonfly Photos, Show us your dragonflies and damselflies

I cannot find a thread on dragonflies except for dragonflies in flight, they are probably my favorite insect to shoot. Please try to ID them if you can.

This is a male Blue Dasher from a couple days ago (Scientific or Binomial Names in the exif)

Here's a male Eastern Pondhawk I shot today

Hello,

Cool idea Tom!

This was with the K100D Super and the kit lens (18-55 I) over a decade ago.

...and this one landed next to me and said "Hey! Ain't you gonna take a picture of me?" I only had a small point and shoot at the moment (Fuji F600EXR)

Dragonfly One: Clear for Takeoff, heading West-North West, wind one eight zero at one two knots

Both have the same scientific name: "Lookus likus helicopterus"

Thanks,
Ismael

I always look out for dragonflies on summer excursions. All previously posted I think.

A few from a trip to Algonquin Provincial Park in June

Crimson-ringed Whiteface

Common Whitetail

Delta-spotted Spiketail

Chalk-fronted Corporal

This one is a migrant from the south - most likely a Carolina Saddlebags
