Also, I was able to use a friendís Phase One camera controlling softbox to capture images during his own wedding reception. It was an amazing experience. He didnít immediately scoff at my attempts nor delete me from photos, and from him that is high praise. The reception was attended by a lot of truly interesting and photogenic people, so I had great conversations and made a few great images this evening.
What in the heck is a ďcamera controlling softboxĒ?

Posted my shots from 8th and 9th. Will choose one from the 10th in a short while.
Edit: 10th chosen, perhaps should've upped the saturation a little more but I'm happy enough with the result.
I'll do some commenting later.

I posted the 10th first, since I want to get a few pix from the ceremony and the reception to the couple.

Watching my friend using artificial lights and modifiers, then seeing the differences in images really make me want to pursue artificial lighting as well as portraits.

Why??? He's not one of us fools to go full frame.

I might have to get it at some point, but my month with A24 proved that longer focal lengths are my main interest, so there are several lenses to get before DFA21ltd. But I can see it in my bag within next ten years

I'm sure on APSC all those pesky bokeh filled corners can be eliminated, leaving the quality to be even better, plus let's face it, a silver limited lens just looks sooooooooo cooooooool

ME as well, but I've notice that you all have been posting great images. I'm in the last 24 hours before a deadline, so for better or worse, I'll have more time to comment after I've submitted the final product and have time to get back to commenting and uploading the images I've managed to squeeze into the busy workweek.
