Gone for an impending sense of doom with my version, did a dark, high contrast black and white and then used Analog Efex to add the blur, with a few more tweaks afterwards.

Ok, time to wrap this up, as usual, I don't feel confident enough to critique all the entries, but some pretty good interpretations of a mundane shot.
