As much as I'd like to, I'm afraid I can't afford that much effort to the cause. It would be a half-arsed approach on both, unfortunately.

Well we made it to the end of another month with a single lens, my month with the FA* 200mm 2.8 was an easy time, my comments for other peoples photos have been somewhat lacking and apologies for that, I did love the mono month but mostly went colour in my efforts.
Number one with this lens is the quality of resolution, top notch and a step up from the 80-200 2.8 zoom from the same era. I found the bokeh to be pleasant and I sometimes noticed an almost circular helios feel to the photos in the viewfinder which was not so pronounced in the actual images. The minimum focus distance is not too bad and I cannot remember any slowness with focusing via the screw drive. A few shots that I liked from the month

I must make a point to get out of the office during lunch time and get the final MoNovember image. I won't miss the Super-Tak 105mm, it's not a walk around lens and right now most of my picture taking is done on the fly.
However, when I have the right mindset, the right lighting, and the right subject, well, then I realize how good of a lens it is.

The ST 50 1.4/k1 is a combo I've singled before and know fairly well. It's an ideal pairing. 50mm is an easy focal and the ST is a nice and versatile lens. Fun to take on weekend excursions. Bokeh and vintage vibes wide open or crisp landscapes with that particular Takumar effortless sharpness.
