Sorry for the lack of clarity. The DA* 200, and other than purple fringing there wasn’t much I saw in the images (made on a k-3) that stood out between them.

BTW the other lens is technically a d fa* and was not out when I tested. But I understand it wasn’t clear and I might have mistyped hence the question. Everything I have read suggests that the d fa* 70-200 is a far better lens than the fa* but my personal experience was so good with the FA* that I find that hard to fathom. Of course my shots were on a crop sensor, perhaps the edge performance on ff is where this is more obvious?
