Easy enough, the DA 21mm it is!

You will want one, just for the stopped-down starbursts.

I almost bought 21mm but decided to get 15. It is very nice lens, very clear and even with software corrections off renders pretty well. Still with such wide angle rather hard to use and I rarely take it with me. So I will have an excuse to use it more.

I started the year with the DA 21 limited. I might think about finishing up with it too. On the K3 iii this time.

I’d second the call for the 21 - if only because it will be the final month of my 21 in 21 (using the DA21 every day of 2021).

And welcome, WileyB

As for making up your mind about the DA21 - easy: you need it. xP

If that's your call after spending a (soon) full year with it...then it carries weight!

I’d like to join! I’ll have to read up on the faq though re: theme days :-)

I’ll take my main pair: k5 + 35 Ltd
So the FAQ didn't actually describe 'theme days'

Does it just mean pictures taken/posted with your chosen lens on those four Tuesdays should, ideally, match the theme?

Ideally, yes, but the themes are merely aids to inspiration when one is uninspired, also, they add to a sense of community when several people do choose to follow the themes. Alas, I often forget the theme.

If giving the HD PENTAX-DFA 1:2.4 21mm ED Limited DC WR a "Single In" workout can't get me out of my current photographic malaise, I suspect nothing can.

So I'm in. I have a few lenses which cover a similar field of view on either full frame or crop, so expect to see the odd comparison shot.

I am having a switch. The 70mm is going back to January because I want to join in the 21mm party. It seems particularly fitting to finish 2021 with the 21, also it will be good to cross the finish line with @tsuken after a fabulous year. SMC 21mm for me

I can't wait to see what the FA 21s bring

It's been a rough time for me so I'm not sure of my performance, but I'm in... No specific idea for the lens so why not the DA21.

Also in with the new DFA 21. Just received a nice silver one yesterday. Hope I get over being too anxious to take it outside, otherwise it'll be a whole month of indoor still life's. :/
