Well here we go... thanks to all those folk for participating, after what I thought was going to be quite a shaky start.
A difficult image to work with for two main reasons, all the woodland clutter... which can often be the case with this genre of photography and the other frequent offender being, lots of bland bright sky. So it was interesting for me, to see how folk would interpret and deal with those elements. So just a few comments on the ones that especially caught my eye.
Fdooch: All those spooky wee eyes, lurking all around... wasn't expecting to see them there, so it certainly made me smile.
Todd: What a truly an amazing amount of detail you extracted in this predominately B&W image... but then you notice subtle teal/green/blue twiggy bits, hmmm.
astonm: Neural filters... in this case I guess the Winter landscape version in play here, certainly something different in the end result here. Might have to look into their use more myself in the future.
Grimmus: dark and moody... just like I let my imagination to run wild, within woods like this.
Tuggie76: The introduction of a non indigenous Bear into Highland woodlands, means both bear spray and a rifle will need to be carried along with all the camera kit in future. Note to self: engage a second Sherpa for these outings.
So my winner this week goes to Grimmus, congratulations, you have produced something so similar to my own PP'd image this week, it's almost a duplicate, well done. (yes... I was playing along at home at the same time).
