I suppose it would have been a bit awkard, telling someone they were interrupting my liminality (especially as I had never heard of the word at the time!).
According to the link posted by pepperberry farm, there is huge interest in this on Redditt, Youtube and Twitter, but I don't see much on Flickr or PF. Maybe if someone posted a link here on what gear to use for liminal photography it might get more traction....:-)

You need any Pentax , with something like the FA 31 Liminal on it.

Great thread. I accidentally posted in the wrong one, earlier. I often find myself drawn to empty public spaces. It's a bit different than the usual disaster / decay types of shots. Places that have just kind of been left behind or have lost their purpose and are in limbo, waiting for life to be revived into them. This shot below is of an abandoned office space under a bridge. It was empty before COVID, and myriad economic issues in the town have impacted a once bustling commercial boulevard long before the pandemic got hold of it.
