Interresting car, and nice capture.

Enjoyed these "burning car" shots a lot. This is my favorite. Somehow it tells me that he does this every day...

Have you heard what started the fire?
The Navy guy had just parked 5 minutes before flames showed up under the engine compartment. He had gone in. We saw the fire starting under there from the office because our building sits at the base of a small hill. My office is on the 3rd floor. It took 10 minutes for the fire truck to get there and about 5 for the police. For some reason, the police didn't have fire extinguishers with them or they weren't the right type which I was surprised. I didn't get the initial images because of calling campus police and fire department. Apparently it started from a combination of a mechanical failure and compromise in the fuel system.

I heard a crazy story once that you are not required by law to wear a motorcycle helmet in the States. Is this actually true?

Yes, though it depends on the State. I always found it entertaining on long road trips in the US when everybody on one side of a state line would have helmets and then a few kilometres later nobody did. Cutoff jean shorts, sandals and a tank top as your only clothing has never really struck me as being motorcycle appropriate.

It depends on the state and sometimes age. At a glance, I thought this was a biker gang . . . NOT . . .

I liked this series because of being there when it was live. It was one of the more fun series I've taken because of the enthusiasm the 2 had . . . the dad seemed stoic . . .
