Javier, you are really a people photographer. Really impressive series of images here. A lot of fun browsing through all of them

Here are some from my last roll of film. K1000 with Kodak Hi def 400 50mm@F/16
I know many of us have gotten use to the digital look, but I really like the film look allot.

This is a part of series I shot at the famous fashion district in Los Angeles.

I like that shot the best

It has captured the setting and three random people. A good image with a style on its own

Hi all,

My first post here. I have really enjoyed viewing these images.

I want to start taking pics like these but am a bit apprehensive about what someone might say. I asked the receptionist at a local company yesterday if I could take her pic and got the wierdest look and 'no thank you'.

I just shrugged and moved on. How do you manage to take such close ups without seemingly any objections?

Cheers

I really love the pictures of the ultra shady characters.. keep 'em coming. I like the last two you put up jgredline. Those are the kinds of photos that make me want to travel to America and start snapping.

Thank you!. It takes time to learn the art. I call it art, because it is tough to do at first. Take that receptionist. If it where a capture I really wanted, I would have taken a step back and smiled at her and shot her. A wide angle lens would help, because you can fit her to the left or right all the while not pointing the camera at her. The trick is to not think about it and just do it. Every once in awhile I will get the evil eye, but that is usually it. The evil eyes will usually come from men, while women will smile.
