Nesster (Jussi) was kind enough to send me 4 rolls of Ferrania. 2 rolls of 100 and 2 rolls of 400. Thank you kindly 8-)

Of course, I chose the worst part of the day to shoot. high noon harsh sun light, but I was anxious to get out. I managed to shoot 1 roll of each using two bodies. It was very tough to do in the span of an hour...Anyway...It felt good to shoot analog again.

Canon AE-1, FD28F/2.8, Ferrania 100

Blurry, but I like the pic

nice, the FOV really changes when you go FF Javier. I think where the 28 is almost perfect on digital a 50 is the one for film (though i like my 35 on the fed as i think it's a better lens than my 50 for that camera)

Thanks Eddie. I agree that FOV really changes as shooting with that 28 is like shooting a 20mm or so on APS-C, but I do not mind. I actually rather like it. I will shoot another roll today someplace.

Must be nice to have that 99 cent film source. Damn if i could find 99 cent film i could shoot 36 developed and base 4 scanned for 3.98
at that price I'd shoot loads of colour print (at that price i would do my Single in on film for a change, I figure that $50 could do a month with plenty to spare

Film is just stupidly expensive up here so i order by the brick from Freestyle or BH at essentially half the Canadian price after shipping and border crap

To continue with good ole fashion Analog, these are with my Pentax ME-F, SMC-M40F/2.8 and Ferrania 400....Nothing great, but I was out to test the film more than anything else. I will give the other two rolls the ole college try tomorrow.

Javier - very cool film shots. That ME-F is a rare bird, no? I just put my first roll thru an old ME I picked up not long ago - hope the shots come out half as nice as yours. You do your own processing?

Mark - love the colors on Pink Edibles!

Eddie, those are fantastic. I have taken out my DA15 and it is ok, but a tad to short. My DA21 is pretty good though. What I like I like about the UWA is the context they leave behind, which I love. The first one in your series is simply brilliant. I will be saving it in my flickr favs. As far as street goes, it does not get much better in my book.
