ME SUPER with Chinon 135 F/2.8 and CVS asa 400 film. I find this lens hard to use. Most of my captures where slightly out of focus even at F/8..This lens is also way long for street shooting. Stll I had to try it...

+1 for the not-so-easy use. I gave it another try with a 135mm lens yesterday at the carnival. Never mind the crop factor, I find those lenses behave similarly on both formats (maybe due to the shake reduction on the digital).

I like this Mike. I've always been interested in the way Western culture has affected Eastern countries.

Cosmo, your pics from the racetrack, are these with a 6x6cm camera? 50mm lens? They are excellent, too dark and not brilliantly sharp :-)

Mike Cash, like that last one a lot, contrasty in many ways.

Nesster, your little clown on the mini-bicycle is affirming what you have said. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but sometimes it's there in the street and you only have to go and get it.

Yeah, they are shot 6x6 on a Yashica MAT em with a 80mm f/3.5. I shot it with Provia 100, and shot it at iso 150 to try and retain highlight detail. I like the exposure, they came out about as I expected. And trying to get good focas was hard, the DOF is very shallow and I had to work quickly as I didn't want to be seen. To be honest, I'm not too bothered about the softness, I'm not really one to scrutanise over absolute sharpness.

Oops, it was meant ironic when I said 'too dark, too soft', I just like them the way they are and part of it is those attributes.

Gimme more 6x6, Georg (the other)
