Art Crawl in Hamiltons James North - packed with people - much to photograph, and a challenge for AF - fast moving, low light shooting.

This fellow was playing with the Duo above earlier in the evening - this was on the way to complete the trio.

I've been admiring the inspirational posts on the thread for some time. I took my rangefinder loaded up with Delta3200 out for a spin on the subject to give it a go.

I liked the softness of the images. Some street photos are so sharp they sort of hurt my eyes.

Why thanks. Your shots provide me with much inspiration. I'm experimenting shooting Delta 3200 at EI400. It yields finer grain than box speed and hopefully, the goal, more DR for shots in the summer sun.

It looks like you're trying to replicate the look of that inexpensive, generic brand color film you use to shoot?

Good eye and yes. But so far no luck. It lacks the grain and the dept. My PP skills need work. I am very basic in what I can do. Thanks for noticing.

Some shots look a lot like it color-wise. For a moment I thought you were shooting it again. If you're using Lightroom, I see a slider for "grain" you can add.

I am using lightroom and I have used the slider, but for some reason, it looks more like noise than grain.
