Following the graduation cerremony, many people were using the university's botanic gardens for photo ops, including this woman.

Since everyone is friendly here, I suggested to her photographer where she should stand, and where he should be, in order to get a similar shot Later, I actually saw some of his results on an FB page for the university.

I guess the most important things to keep in mind for street photos is to always have a camera, and watch for oppotrtunities. I happened upon a very creative engagement ceremony recently. The prospective groom had arranged for his Fiancee and friend to go on a scavenger hunt, finding several balloons. He also had a few balloons

, and was waiting for her to come to the center of the grounds where he was waiting.

Fortunately, she accepted

I suggested the couple and friends pose with the balloons afterward

How many of you have interacted with strangers taking selfies or other photos in order to get a more creative composition?

Sometimes you capture a stranger....sometimes the stranger captures you when you are shooting a Porsche 550.

Little girl flying her first kite at the Ocean City, MD Kite Fest. It took a few tries before she managed to keep her Tinkerbell kite in the air, but when she finally did she was unstoppable...

Unfortunately the kid was using a digital Canon with cropped sensor, on the other I think I took this pic with a Nikon F2A if I remember correctly.
